SAFE Software Awarded “Best Software Exporter in Eastern China 2005”

 

During 2005, East China leads the nation in information development and has become a major force pulling the industry forward.  After successfully holding “Annual Economic Conference of East China IT Industry” in 2003 and 2004, China Information World East China Edition and CCID Consulting Shanghai office held “2005 Annual Economic Conference of East China IT Industry” at Equatorial Hotel in Shanghai.

The theme of “Annual Economic Conference of East China IT Industry” this year is “Industry Regional Planning and Business Competitiveness”.  Surrounding the hot topics in the information applications and IT industry development in East China, many government officials, well known scholars and business people are invited to participate.  It formed a platform for government and businesses to communicate and discuss the critical strategies for the highly competitive East China IT industry development.  It also announced the “Best Software Exporter in East China 2005” award winners and initiated the “2005 East China Information Industry Summit Dialogue”.

Due to their distinguished contribution and influence in the East China information industry, SAFE Software and Softowner Software in SAFE Group have each won the “2005 East China Best Company in Software Export” and “2005 East China Emerging Software Company” awards separately.  Chairman Steven Chang and Vice President Guan Zheng Hua showed up for the awards.

SAFE Group Chairman Steven Chang gave an insightful speech on the topic of “How to resolve the conflict between HR cost and business profit in the current IT industry environment” in “2005 East China Information Industry Summit Dialogue”.

Chairman Chang indicated that, to a business today, especially a hi-tech IT business, a group of multi-facet, multi-level staff is the core engine for the business development.  The competition among businesses boils down to human resource competition.  It means if a business leader tries to gain more profit by cutting employee benefits, the result will be the contrary in the long run.  Only if the business is willing to offer more competitive salary and benefits, will the employees be motivated to create and further translate their creativeness into more profit for business.

Just because SAFE Group adopts this kind of human resources policy, it can develop, within a short period of time of less than three years, from twenty some people, two million yuans capital investment small company to a large business group with over one thousand people, more than one hundred million yuans revenue and highly diversified operations.  Human resource is always the most precious asset in SAFE Group.
